January 24, 2005
Editor: I have read quite a few editorials in the last few days that have lumped homosexuality together with all kinds of immoral, unethical and illegal practices. This acts as a testimony to the insanity and importance of…Sundance 2005

Letter to the Editor: Founding fathers did not write constitution on ‘Christian’ principles

January 18, 2005
Editor: Alumnus Trevor Burnett's letter (Jan. 14's "Society has a moral obligation to protect marriage leaves me baffled at how someone can get a college degree without getting an education. This nation was "founded on Christian principles?" No, the principal founders were Deists or the equivalent of Unitarians, some of whom, especially Jefferson, considered Christianity a pox on the world.

Any Willing Provider Most current health-care plans require that individuals in need of health care acquire such care through a health care provider or physician that is contracted with their insurance provider or HMO. "Any willing provider" laws allow for individuals to obtain reimbursable medical services from any qualified provider, regardless of whether or not that provider has contracted with the individual's insurance provider or HMO.
