We have the right to open carry

August 27, 2008

As long as an individual's right to keep and bear arms is protected by our federal government and constitutions, it's wrong to suggest that those who choose to own, possess or carry weapons may not do so in other ways that are at least as legal, responsible and safe as those who choose to carry concealed.

By By Marco Villano, Bryan Choinard July 9, 2008

Opinion: Only stone-cold Mormons need apply to Y

By By Ryan Shattuck November 20, 2007
Unfortunately, I don't possess even one unbiased bone in my body when it comes to Brigham Young University. Really, not a single bone. Even my coccyx is no fan of the Cougar. It's difficult to remain objective when writing about why the U is superior to BYU, especially when one is physically incapable of doing so.

Free Alta? Stop the segregation

By By Jessica Dunn November 20, 2007
At first glance, Alta Ski Area seems like a pretty friendly place. Its website claims "Alta Ski Area welcomes you," but Alta is segregating the world of winter sports, similar to the segregation by skin color some southern states employed until the 1960s. The website later states that "Alta is a skiers' mountain.
